El Curso "Cultivando equilibrio emocional" fue creado en el año 2000 en respuesta a un pedido
directo del Dalai Lama a un grupo de neurocientíficos, psicólogos y maestros budistas destacados en una conferencia
del Mind & Life Institute sobre las emociones destructivas.

Learning to experience and express our emotions wisely gives us a invigorating feeling of full joy and fulfillment. This makes the mind naturally more peaceful, focused and clear, which is the support of greater mental balance. With greater mental balance we can begin to go deeper within ourselves, interpersonal relationships and the world around us, discovering the joy of knowing reality as it is.

This is a course where we will learn to flow expressing our inner world in a wise and constructive way.
You'll learn:
To know the Process of emotions. This process assesses the environment and ourselves by recording events that are important to our well-being. This triggers a cascade of cognitive, somatic, behavioral, and subjective effects.
To recognize emotional triggers. These are easier to learn than to eradicate and the triggers that we learned as children and that no longer serve us, can lead us to unfortunate episodes and give inappropriate responses to current situations. That is why knowing the process, knowing the universal and personal triggers is key.

To develop Techniques. Insight training can bring awareness to processes that otherwise remain unconscious and automatic. Carrying awareness means that we can choose how to express and how to experience emotions. In the course you will learn specific practices that come from contemplative traditions and that are aimed at stabilizing attention, recognizing cognitive tendencies, sharpening somatic perception, strengthening conscious intention and prioritizing compassionate response towards ourselves and towards others. others.
And recognize the power of choice. Being aware of the emotional process in the midst of an emotional episode allows conscious intervention to break the automatic flow of impulse to action and provides the opportunity to choose the expression of emotions in a constructive way.
